As an independent small practice, we pride ourselves on developing and maintaining close working relationships with all of our clients, whatever their requirements. We welcome all new enquiries and are always on hand to provide advice and support wherever possible.
We provide services to a wide
range of clients, from self-employed individuals to small businesses, from sole traders and
business partnerships to Ltd companies, and also individuals who may be employed but have other
forms of income, i.e. property rentals, requiring them to complete a
tax return.
The Bottom Line was established in May 2017 by Chris Allen, initially preparing tax returns for self-employed individuals. As the business has grown, we have been able to expand our range of services, whilst always remaining supportive, understanding, professional, efficient, and providing value for money.
We provide a wide range of services including day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll (PAYE), accounts preparation and filing (company and individual), tax return preparation and filing (Corporation and personal), VAT and CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) returns, as well as general support and advice.
Chris has been an AAT-qualified accounting technician since 1991 and has over 20 years’ experience working in an accounting and IT environment. He is also registered as an HMRC-approved agent for Self Assessment, Corporation Tax, PAYE, VAT, CIS, and Stamp taxes.
Chris was an amazing find. I wanted someone to go through and complete my tax return for the past year. He sat with me and discussed clearly what was needed. He also went through the best way I could summarise and collate all of my tax information for next year to come including how to set out my spread sheet.
